The tangram presentations were really good. The 9A class was divided into three goups which were supposed to:
1)tell the history of tangrams;
2)tell a story (Tangram Fairy Tale);
3)play with the kids.
The first group seemed to know what each one had to say and they were asking the kids questions to keep their atention on the presentation. The group also made the kids build a square with the tangram parts, which was very nice.
The second group, which was the one that I was participating, told the kids a short story of a dinossaur, a girl and a big house. The pourpose of it was to show the kids how the tangram parts can be used to build a lot of images. The kids also learn what an isosceles trinagle is.
The third group played with the kids. First the kids had to build some imaged using the tangram. After that they made a circle and created a story using the images that each one og them built. At last they played "lots of corosses" with the kids.
All the presentations were very well organized, every one had their materials and all the groups could keep the kid's atention focused on presentations.
