Hey guys..
today in class Miss Saatkamp began by explaining what we will need for math second semester. We will be required to have a scientific calculator, don't worry, its not too expensive and you can find it in any "papelaria". The thing is though, that for next year we will need a graphic calculator, to buy one in Brazil is very expensive (about 1,400) so if in these vacations or the next you go to the States, its highly recomended that you buy when you are there where it is much cheaper. The one mrs saatkamp prefers is TI 83.
Now, back to math: Today we spent class correcting the homework from page 325 numbers 16-37 (not 36). Some people had trouble with number 21, the answer is 78 and we need to aply the idea of chapter three in which corresponding angles are congruent. Also, many people were in doubt about number 37 because we were expecting an answer as a sole number, but yes the answer is 180-x.
Mrs Saatkamp also reinforced the idea that diagonal are perpendicular it is NOT definate that it is a rhombus.
Guys it is very very important that for the test (not quiz, test) on Friday we know the system of equations, when you have two equations with x and y you isolate y and replace. Also we need to know the main formulas

ps to get my formulas i took the images from a site called purple math.. i thought it was really easy to find, if anyone is having trouble.
